Dangerous goods The carriage of dangerous goods by road requires drivers and safety advisors to hold a vocational certificate gained by examination, and those involved in handling and packaging dangerous goods must receive adequate training in safety awareness. All NTS courses are approved by regulatory bodies and are provided at our approved centre or at other approved venues. Training is provided for drivers wishing to obtain an ADR certificate for the first time, initial training or for drivers wishing to renew their certificate through refresher training.
We provide training for people intending to become qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors, DGSA, or we can provide fully-qualified DGSA on an annual consultancy basis for companies that would prefer that option. Training is also available for people who handle dangerous goods but are not themselves involved in the transport of them. |
