Lorry-loaders

Norfolk Training Services Ltd is an approved training provider by the Association of Lorry-Loader Manufacturers and Importers (ALLMI).

All of our operator training and testing meets the national standard which is recognised by the Health and Safety Executive and our courses are fully certificated to the standards laid down by ALLMI.
 
Training and testing is available for all types of lorry-loaders and attachments on-site or at our training centre for both novice and experienced operators*.
 

Course objectives

To provide training and testing to a national standard that is recognised by the Health and Safety Executive. The courses are fully certified to ALLMI standards.

Training programme Novice, Experienced, Refresher and Conversion

Modules Include: Legislation; Pre-operational checks; Lifting attachments; Maintenance; Siting of the lorry-loader; Lorry-loader operation; Stowing for travel.

Course fees

Course Description Cost in Company
1 day (max 3 persons) Experienced operators operating lorry-loaders for at least 6 months (basis for Refresher training at the required 5-year intervals). £250 per day + mileage
2 day (max 3 persons) Operators with less experience than the above or total novices £250 per day + mileage

The above costs refer to training using a hook attachment. Costs may vary for other attachments. Please note that a course manual and ALLMI registration is required for each candidate at a cost of £35.00 per person (no VAT). Some fees may change due to circumstances beyond our control.

*From the 1st November 2011, lorry-loader operator training is available only on supplied vehicles
